This public hospital and clinic offers high-quality services and advanced technology within the public healthcare network in Quito. It provides comprehensive medical services across all areas of health to individuals without medical insurance.
This program is designed for medical students and professionals, including those in medicine, pre-med, nursing, and practicing healthcare providers.
Program Overview:
Our partner public hospital in Quito operates with over 240 beds and treats more than 10,500 patients annually.
The program focuses on facilitating knowledge exchange and observational learning, providing insight into Ecuadorian medical practices while allowing participants to support local patients. Participants will always be supervised by local doctors, nurses, and medical students.

Program Overview:
• Clinical Experience: Opportunities to shadow medical professionals and assist in real-world settings.
• Cultural Immersion: Includes Spanish lessons, traditional activities, and weekend excursions.

• Global Health Perspective: Gaining cultural competency by learning about different health systems and resource management.
• Support & Safety: Includes safe homestay accommodations, airport transfers, and 24/7 local support.
