Program for Children with Special Needs

This program is dedicated to serving children with moderate to severe cerebral palsy who live in vulnerable communities in southern Quito.

These children require continuous care and assistance as they are unable to care for themselves and will always need a designated caregiver or therapist.
While the parents of these children are employed, their financial resources are insufficient to hire a professional, full-time therapist. Therefore, parents accompany their children to a dedicated care and therapy center where the children receive comprehensive services, including general care, meals, physical therapy, and speech therapy.
The success of this initiative relies on volunteers who possess relevant experience in this area, along with a significant amount of patience and dedication toward the children.
The program is financially sustained through small contributions from the parents, supplemented by crucial support from international organizations and foundations.
